Description of RO Painted Lilly: Painted Lilly's parent are two of the flashiest brindles the longhorn breed has seen. She is pretty flashy herself! We have really liked Painted Lilly but there are two quirks about her that have led us to lower her price. First, she is a more slender heifer than we would have expected based on her genetics. She looks healthy, but she doesn't have the girth of most of our cattle. Second, she likes to stay by herself a lot. There was a time when we were worried she was sick or not feeling well based on her isolation and thinner body type. It is still possible that something is bothering her, but it has been a long time since she has acted this way, and she is still growing well. She seems fine socially when we call the cattle up. She just is fine staying by herself out in the pasture. She isn't always by herself, but she will stay where the cattle were grazing after the others have moved on. Of course we all know people who go against the grain, so she could just have that personality. Either way, we have lowered her price in case there is something bothering her.
