CO Emerging Victorious
2nd in class 19 (behind the Reserve Grand Champion)
It had been about 10 years since we had taken any of our cattle to a longhorn show, but our good friends the Rods convinced us to take some mature cows to the STLA show, which was close to their home in El Campo. We took 5 mature cows, and three of them qualified for the World Show by placing first or second in their class. The other two placed 3rd and 4th in the class with CO Jules and an Emperor's Echo daughter, RHL Starlight Starbright. She won Grand Champion Mature Cow, and in addition to being a daughter of our most senior herd sire, she is the dam of RHL Ester, one of our nice young cows.
